Nebraska drops a spot in AP poll

Nebraska dropped one spot in the latest Associated Press college football poll despite its 38-14 win against Minnesota on Saturday.

The Huskers dropped from No. 16 to No. 17. This comes a week after a two-spot boost following Nebraska's win against Penn State.

The AP poll put Notre Dame as No. 1 and Alabama as No. 2, following Saturday night upsets for Oregon and Kansas State.

Nebraska did, however, keep steady at its No. 14 spot on USA Today Top 25 football coaches poll.
